Rewiring Australia works with communities, governments, industry and partners to make the transition to clean energy practical, accessible and scalable.
Our projects test new ways to electrify homes, build the capacity of the people delivering the transition, and develop the systems and models needed to make change happen at scale. From community-led electrification pilots to research into finance, technology and new delivery models, we focus on what works in the real world.
Our flagship community electrification pilot, aiming to get 500 homes off gas and fully electrified for a real world demonstration project, delivered with Brighte, Endeavour Energy and funded by ARENA.

Go Electric Canberra is a community-led project helping 1,000 households make the switch to efficient electric living.
A 12-month project with ACT installers and households, funded by the ACT Energy Innovation Fund, to make electric home upgrades easier.

Rewiring Australia is a non-profit organisation dedicated to representing the people, households and communities in the energy system. We empirically demonstrate and communicate the cost savings, emissions reductions, and energy system benefits of electrification.
