
Supported by the NSW Government through the Community Energy Activation Program, Rewiring Australia will work alongside at least 15 funded community partners to deliver practical electrification advice and support across metropolitan and regional New South Wales.

We also know we have a lot to share having delivered Australia’s first community-led electrification pilot - Electrify 2515 - and other innovative initiatives with others across NSW.
The Rewiring NSW Communities Program brings together community groups from across New South Wales into a coordinated statewide network, combining local knowledge with national expertise, practical resources and ongoing support.
Together we'll help households by:
Successful partners will become part of a statewide community of practice and receive:
For volunteer-led and emerging organisations delivering local engagement activities.
For established organisations delivering coordinated community engagement programs.
For experienced organisations capable of delivering large-scale community initiatives.
A tailored training and workshop program covering home electrification, community engagement, NSW rebates and practical delivery, featuring expert guest speakers.
Monthly training and peer mentoring sessions, where you'll learn alongside other community organisations from across New South Wales.
Dedicated support from Rewiring Australia's team, drawing on our experience supporting community electrification initiatives such as Electrify 2515 and other successful projects.
Access to expert advisors and guest speakers, including community visits from Rewiring Australia founder Dr Saul Griffith.
NSW-specific household data and insights tailored to your local area from Rewiring Australia's research team.
A growing library of practical materials including factsheets, social media graphics, survey templates and how-to guides.
Access to Electric Saul, our new AI Home Advisory Tool customised for NSW audiences, providing personalised electrification pathways and rebate advice for households.
New tools and resources developed throughout the program in response to partner feedback and emerging community needs.

We'll keep all applicants updated throughout the assessment process. Successful organisations will receive support to onboard into the program before training begins in October.
